SHORT SYNOPSIS

From Tony Award-nominated composer Laurence O’Keefe (Legally Blonde) and Emmy-winning writer Kevin Murphy (Reefer Madness) comes Heathers The Musical—a wickedly funny, brutally honest, and surprisingly heartfelt adaptation of the 1988 cult classic film. Welcome to Westerberg High, September 1989. The hallways are ruled by a viciously stylish trio: Heather, Heather, and Heather—the most popular and feared girls in Ohio. That is, until smart, sardonic misfit Veronica Sawyer dares to stand up to them. Enter J.D., a brooding new student with a dangerous plan to bring the Heathers—and anyone else who gets in his way—down for good. Heathers The Musical is a razor-sharp, dark comedy packed with infectious songs, explosive energy, and a whole lot of heart. It’s a story about fitting in, standing out, falling in love, and surviving high school.
