Footlite Musicals is proud to announce open auditions for The Prom, directed by Jerry Beasley and Claire Slaven.
Please bring 16-32 bars of a song that shows off your vocal talent, with sheet music in the correct key for the provided accompanist. A change of clothes for the dance portion of the audition is encouraged.
We are committed to inclusive casting, welcoming performers of all shapes, sizes, colors, and abilities.
Age Guidelines:
Performers of all ages are welcome to audition for The Prom. While many characters are high school students, age-appropriate casting will be based on the ability to believably portray the role—not the performer’s real age. Adults may be cast as high school students, and high school-aged performers are encouraged to audition. Please note that some characters must be portrayed by adults due to the nature of the roles. All casting decisions will reflect the needs of the production and the authenticity of the performances.
If you have any questions regarding the audition process, please contact us.
