August 25 @ 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Footlite Musicals is excited to announce open auditions for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Auditions will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, and at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, August 26. Callbacks are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27.

The auditions will be held at Footlite Musicals in the Hedback Theatre – 1847 N. Alabama St., Indianapolis. You only need to attend one audition date. The production team is seeking a cast of performers that is representative of the Indianapolis community—inclusive of all ethnicities, body types, gender identities, sexual orientations, and abilities.

Please sign up by filling out our audition form: https://forms.gle/ddRPqcPuSjFmbcQh9

You will have the opportunity to select your audition date. Twenty-four hours before your selected date, you will be provided with a specific time. Video auditions will be accepted only if you have conflicts during the audition dates.

Please come prepared to sing 16-32 bars from a song that shows off your vocal talent, with sheet music in the appropriate key. An accompanist will be provided. After singing, our choreographer will teach the dance portion of the audition. Additionally, there will be an optional dance workshop to learn the choreography on Saturday, August 17, from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Footlite Musicals.

Production dates are November 22, 23, 24, 29, 30 and December 1, 5, 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 15. No conflicts are allowed after Friday, November 15, since all remaining dates are either dress rehearsals or performances. Additionally, the number of conflicts listed may impact casting decisions due to limited rehearsal time.
